Time and the Time Space Continuum

In summary, time is a concept used to measure the duration or sequence of events and is interdependent with space. The time space continuum is a mathematical model that explains their relationship, and according to the theory of relativity, time can be distorted but not significantly manipulated. While theoretically possible, time travel is currently beyond our technological capabilities.

I need people's theory's on time and the space time continuum. I believe that time is made up of realities, and that the main reality is where we are now. When events happen, little branches come off. (Every person has their own reality that is linked into the whole.) When time travel happens, that person makes a new reality, away from the whole, and they will eventually make it so that they meet themself, forcing them into limbo for all of eternity.

What is your theory?

aren't you referring to a form of multiplistic mental monism?

1. What is time?

Time is a concept used to measure the duration or sequence of events. It is a fundamental aspect of our perception and understanding of the universe.

2. How is time related to space?

Time and space are interdependent concepts. According to the theory of relativity, time and space are part of a four-dimensional structure called spacetime. This means that changes in space or motion can affect the passage of time, and vice versa.

3. What is the time space continuum?

The time space continuum is a mathematical model used to describe the relationship between time and space. It is based on the theory of relativity and explains how time and space are connected and can be affected by gravity and motion.

4. Can time be manipulated or altered?

According to the theory of relativity, time can be distorted by factors such as gravity and velocity. However, we currently do not have the technology or knowledge to manipulate time in a significant way.

5. Is time travel possible?

Theoretically, time travel is possible according to the theory of relativity. However, it would require the ability to travel at extremely high speeds or near massive objects, which is currently beyond our technological capabilities.
