I am currently working on a project involving a diesel/lime slurry. Problem I am having is that the line that the slurry is coming off of is about 100 psi and it needs to be regulated to about 40 psi. The pressure regulators I have been looking at are not ideal because of the small spaces within them. Lime is a caking agent and quickly fills in small spots like that. So basically, the pressure regulator needs to be a relatively smooth shot. I was looking at some for mining, but they do not provide the pressure range that I need.
I am far from a mechanical engineer, so I was hoping that some people over here might be able to help me think of a creative solution or possibly have some better leads.
Thanks!
