Acceptance rates of canadian grad schools

In summary, the average acceptance rate for Canadian graduate schools is around 20-30%, but it can vary depending on the program and university. These programs can be highly competitive, with top universities receiving a high number of applicants for limited spots. Compared to other countries, Canadian grad schools tend to have slightly lower acceptance rates. Factors that can affect acceptance rates include the competitiveness of the program, number of available spots, and strength of application materials. International students may face additional challenges in being accepted, but many Canadian universities actively seek out and welcome international applicants. Therefore, it's important for international students to research and apply to a variety of schools to increase their chances of acceptance.

Not sure the numbers, but from experience it's pretty high, as long as you meet all the entrance requirements. A lot of grad schools in Canada are actively seeking physics grad students, the problem is the lack of "quality applications" or quality applicants. So if you have decent marks 80+, a good recommendation letter, and some research experience (helpful but not required) you're odds of not being accepted are pretty low.
