In summary, the conversation is about the speaker's difficulties with using Mathtype for translating equations and finding a configuration that works for all forums, with a specific issue regarding the "key" symbol. They ask for help and advice from others who use Mathtype.

Hi! I'm writing because I have many problems with Mathtype when translating (copy and paste). I want to find one configuration which works for all forums... specially this one and Moodle. But, e.g. when I try to do a equation system with a "key" symbol in Mathtype:

(I'm testing different config.)
$$
\begin{align}
& \mathbb{Z} \\
& \underset{x\to \infty }{\mathop{\lim }}\, \\
\end{align}
$$

$$\left\{ \begin{gathered}
\left[ {\left( {n,0} \right)} \right] = n \hfill \\
\left[ {\left( {0,n} \right)} \right] = - n \hfill \\
\end{gathered} \right.$$
why hfill does not work?
[tex]\boxed{\begin{array}{l}
\mathbb{Z}\\
\mathop {\lim }\limits_{x\to \infty }
\end{array}}[/tex]
[tex]\boxed{{\frac{{-b\pm \sqrt {{b^2}-4a\mathbb{R}c} }}{{2a}}}}[/tex]

Does anyone else use MT? Which configuration? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you as I'm not familiar with Mathtype. However, it might be worth looking into some tutorials or other resources to help you get the most out of Mathtype and figure out what configuration may work best for your needs. Additionally, it might be helpful to check with other users who use Mathtype to see what configuration they are using and what tips they have to offer.

1. How do I use Mathtype to translate equations?

To translate equations using Mathtype, you can follow these steps:

1. Open Mathtype and click on the "Translate" button.

2. Select the desired language from the drop-down menu.

3. Type or paste the equation you want to translate into the "Input Box".

4. Click on the "Translate" button to generate the translated equation.

2. Can I translate equations in multiple languages using Mathtype?

Yes, Mathtype supports translation into multiple languages. You can select the desired language from the drop-down menu in the "Translate" window.

3. How do I ensure the accuracy of the translated equations?

Mathtype uses advanced algorithms to accurately translate equations. However, it is recommended to double-check the translated equations for any errors or discrepancies.

4. Is Mathtype compatible with all document types?

Mathtype is compatible with most document types, including Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LaTeX, and more. However, some features may vary depending on the document type.

5. Can I customize the translation settings in Mathtype?

Yes, you can customize the translation settings in Mathtype by clicking on the "Options" button in the "Translate" window. Here, you can adjust the translation accuracy, font, and other settings according to your preference.
