How far-fetched does the idea sound? Cars that would utilise the power provided by Rossi's cold Fusion reactors. Posting this because I was looking into HHO run cars. And with this kind of small and potentially powerful power source it would be possible. It's speculation, but it sounds pretty cool.

Edit: Or simply go back to steam engines?

Until something is invented and shown to work, it is too early to speculate on applications for it.

Also, "HHO" is crackpot jargon for water-electric based perpetual motion. I recommend you ignore it.

1. What is a "Rossi powered car"?

A "Rossi powered car" refers to a car that runs on an engine developed by the Italian inventor Andrea Rossi. The engine, known as the Energy Catalyzer or E-Cat, claims to produce energy through low energy nuclear reactions (LENR) instead of traditional fossil fuels.

2. How does the Rossi engine work?

The Rossi engine utilizes a process known as LENR, in which hydrogen and nickel are combined in a reaction chamber. This reaction produces heat, which is then harnessed to create steam and power a turbine, generating electricity to power the car.

3. What are the benefits of using a Rossi powered car?

The main benefit of using a Rossi powered car is its potential to significantly reduce or eliminate the need for fossil fuels, which contribute to air pollution and climate change. Additionally, the Rossi engine claims to be more efficient and cost-effective than traditional engines, potentially making it a more sustainable and affordable option for transportation.

4. Are there any concerns or controversies surrounding Rossi powered cars?

There have been some concerns and controversies surrounding the Rossi engine, including the fact that it has not been independently verified and tested by the scientific community. Some experts also question the validity of the LENR process and whether it is a feasible source of energy for transportation.

5. When will Rossi powered cars be available for purchase?

As of now, there are no commercially available Rossi powered cars. The technology is still in the developmental and testing phase, and it is unclear when or if it will be available for purchase in the future.
