How often do you study each night in EE undergrad? Weedays? Weekends?

In summary, maintaining a high GPA while studying Electrical Engineering (EE) can be challenging due to the amount of studying required. Some students may be able to balance a part-time job while others may struggle even without a job. It is important to manage time and prioritize commitments, as having a social life or a relationship can negatively impact academic performance. However, the courses typically start off slowly and gradually increase in difficulty, allowing students to adjust to the workload.

I'm really interested in EE and want to maintain a high gpa. I hear that EEs tend to study more in their majors. I need to work atleast 25-30 hours a week to support myself.

Welcome to PF;
I have done this - I did a 60-70 hour week at one stage so it can be done.
However a lot depends on personal aptitude - I knew people who were struggling in their courses without having to work and others who barely needed to study at all.
If you are anything like me you will need to coordinate a social life and any kind of a love interest will kill your gpa.
Fortunately the courses ease you into it.
