Is a Hydrogen-Fueled Internal Combustion Engine the Future of Transportation?

Very much interested in everything about engines. While the battery EV seems to be the generally accepted propulsion of the future, I think the Hydrogen (Flex) fueled internal combustion could prove to out-perform it in every way. An engine that is designed for Hydrogen, but could also run various types of fuel. An engine that would be better in terms of efficiency, cost of operation, refilling time, greener to build, operate, and recycle when it reaches its much longer service (than EV battery.) All that is needed is a new breed of engine that does not have the weaknesses of our present-day conventional engine.

Welcome to PF. It looks like you are getting good responses in your first thread in the technical forums about your ICE questions.
