Is the New Skin Commercial's Brush Applicator Unsanitary?

In summary, there are concerns about the brush applicator for the New Skin liquid bandage product being unsanitary, as it is being used to close a cut on a model's hand and then returned to the bottle. There is potential for wound fluid to transfer back to the bottle, especially when the bottle is near empty and the applicator is no longer submerged. This may increase the risk of infection, making it unsuitable for use in emergency medical services.

Has anyone got thoughts/opinions on the brush applicator for the product being a bit unsanitary? Just saw it, and the cut in the model's hand is being "painted" shut/closed with a brush that is obviously being returned to the bottle. Is there not potential for wound fluid(s) to pick-up/transfer back to the bottle?

Edit: Added a link; haven't got the finesse to link to the actual commercial.

Can you add a link to the product in your post? I see New Skin has a bunch of different products.

While the solution is going to kill pathogens, I would worry about when the bottle is near empty and the applicator brush is no longer completely submerged for a long period of time. In that case, it is bound to become unsanitary and increase the risks of an infection when used again. It seems to me it would be like sealing pathogens directly inside the wound if the applicator is only coated with the solution for a few seconds after shaking.

Yeah, it's probably fine to share the bottle among family members, but I don't think using it like that would fly in EMS. We would need disposable applicators...
