To study physics again from the ground

In summary, studying physics from the beginning allows for a deeper understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles. It also provides a solid foundation for more advanced topics and applications. This approach can help improve problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, making it a valuable subject to revisit.

How did you find PF?

Hi, I studied physics in undergraduate and plasmonics in my master period.
Looking back, I feel lack of solid understanding of physics theory. I forgot most of knowledges of undergraudate level physics.
I studied plasmonics in a very phenomenological way which didn't require solid understanding of theory.

Now, I'll start PhD in an area of cavity quantum electrodynamics but, I barely see a possibility whether I can understand the topics.
I feel very overwhelmed by my current situation. I'd like to overcome this by studying physics from the ground again starting from quantum mechanics and electrodynamics. I'll try my best to understand quantum optics and cavity quantum electrodynamics someday!

I believe PF to be my best companion for this tour!
Ok let's do this!
