Homework Statement



when zener diode is used for voltage regulation,
voltage source is connected in series to zener diode and load resistance is connected parallel to zener diode.
when zener diode is reverse biased, it will enter zener breakdown region. when input voltage increases zener current increases also when load resistance decreases but input voltage remains constant there is an increase in load current.
how this happens? please help revered members.
