In summary, the first semester of physics at Monash University will cover the fundamentals of classical mechanics, including kinematics, dynamics, and energy, as well as an introduction to thermodynamics and electromagnetism. Students will also learn about experimental methods and data analysis, as well as problem-solving techniques and mathematical tools such as calculus. The course may also include laboratory experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts. Overall, this first semester will provide a strong foundation for further studies in physics and related fields.

Hello, just joined up :). My name is Artem. I'm an undergraduate student at Monash University in Australia. I'll be studying math, physics and computer science and then, when I complete my science degree, will be doing a master degree in engineering. First semester starts this month and I'm looking to discuss some of the material for my physics unit.

Thanks :D
