High School Frequency & Wavelength of Radar & Sonar: Get Answers Here!
Can anyone tell me what frequency and Wavelength Radar and Sonar work in. I think Radar have a frequency of 300giga hertz (UHF), wavelength 0.1 Sonar is somewhere between wavelength 100k - 10k metres, frequency 3k - 30k hertz. Please help me thanks,- Awsom Guy

High School Please explain the difference between holography and holograms. I have
Thanks guys. I just needed to know if holograms was ok in a holography subject. My assignment is on holography, but I thought it had to be exactly on it. SO I guess I can use holograms in this as well as holography is the process of making holograms. -

High School Please explain the difference between holography and holograms. I have
Oh NO really. But I can't find much information on holography. So I thought if I explain that holograhy is the process of making holograms, then explaining holograms was ok. Can you maybe post some websites I could use for holography. (OF course wikipedia). Thanks -

High School Please explain the difference between holography and holograms. I have
This is my opening paragraph is it good. Is the information I have placed right please check. "Holography is the process of making or the technique of making holograms. It is an advanced type of photography, which allows the image to be seen in 3D. Holograms work by bouncing laser light off an... -

AM/FM Radio Waves & Diffraction
OK. this is why, FM radio broadcasts travel at a thing called "straight line". Thus they pretty much only travel at straight lines (Sort of, but you get the picture) so if anything like a mountain or a wall comes in its way it will be interfered. But AM doesn't do this, it travles around the...- Awsom Guy

I assume it is because of that am relies on amplitude and fm relies on frequency.- Awsom Guy

High School Seismic Waves: How Are They Produced?
Are you sure about "you cannot get earthquakes larger than about a 10 on the magnitude scale" cause check the table out in wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richter_magnitude_scale It has a 12.55. :0- Awsom Guy

Undergrad Are Gravity Waves Rare? Understanding the Elusive Phenomenon
They are called that because they are just like ripples in water. but gravity in gravity waves confuses everyone as it does not have much to do with gravity waves :D- Awsom Guy

Undergrad Are Gravity Waves Rare? Understanding the Elusive Phenomenon
Thats ok, is you above statement wrong "If gravity waves exist, they're extremely common (they're produced whenever anything changes shape), but they're also extremely weak, and extremely difficult to detect". Yes a lot of people get themselves confused with gravitational and gravity waves, and...- Awsom Guy
