Calculate the magnitude of the total angular momentum of the woman
I = R^2 * M? so then add those two together for I=4.1^2* 55 +4.1^2*106*(1/2) =1815.48?- Black_Hole???

Calculate the magnitude of the total angular momentum of the woman
It is: I = (m*r^2)/2 so it would then be I= (55*4.1^2)/2 + (106*41.^2)/2 =1353.21 Is that right?- Black_Hole???

Calculate the magnitude of the total angular momentum of the woman
so i am going to use the formula I = R^2 * M and do I = 4.1^2*55 + 4.1^2*106? i got my answer as 5371.41 is that correct? i get one chance to get it right so just making sure- Black_Hole???

How Do You Calculate Acceleration and Friction for a Rolling Spherical Shell?
Q1.) A hollow, spherical shell with mass 1.70 rolls without slipping down a slope angled at 38.0. -Find the acceleration. -Find the friction force. -Find the minimum coefficient of friction needed to prevent slipping. If it rolls wthout slippng, the increase in Kinetic Energy equals...- Black_Hole???

Optimization car travel problem
I have been working on this problem for 30 min and can;t seem to get anywhere. Question You have a amphibian vehicle which can travel 20 mph on the water and 52 mph on the land. You must find the quickest point from point A to C. -A is 20 Miles east of point B and is all land. -C is...- Black_Hole???

How Do Wood Blocks Behave in a Collision on a Frictionless Surface?
ok wow i keep finding how to do stuff. Ok to get part C. I realized that i had solved for Vf. So therefore you can use this to find Vi M1V1+M2V1= (M1+M2)V2 then you can use K = 1/2 * m1 * V1^2 = 48.4J- Black_Hole???

How Do Wood Blocks Behave in a Collision on a Frictionless Surface?
ok i forgot the ^2 in theW = 1/2 K (X2-X1)^2 so i did get the right answer but how do i go about getting part C first part. The second part is clearly zero because it doesn;t have any velocity so there for no kinetic energy.- Black_Hole???

How Do Wood Blocks Behave in a Collision on a Frictionless Surface?
Ok to solve B i did. W = 1/2 K (X2-X1) = .5 (159.00)(.45)=35.775 w = (change in K) = .5 (ma + Mb)V2^2 V2 = (35.775/ (1/2 * .45))^(1/2) however i got 12.6 m/s^2 what was i suppose to do instead?- Black_Hole???
