    I vaguely remember that some system is designed with an under-damped response to speed up the system response time. This is my two cents.

    Thank you for the advice. I heard a lot of good things about Metcal station. It is my ideal station. But, it is a bit above my budget for now... Yes, the hot air station is on the buying list too. But, I will get a cheap one first.

    This could be a good idea. You duty cycle the system. So, only a potion of time it is awake.
