Why do we perceive time to pass at the rate that we do?

Accerlation only affects your perception of time because as you receive information about the other persons clock, you can't look at it you are moving they are stationary. As you receive the information about it you will notice it incrementally changing relative to your clock as you accerlate.

Virtual Particles: Creation & Destruction in 10-43 Seconds?

Hawking radiation (black hole radiation) is built on the principle that the virtual partner particles are realized. Unless I am misunderstanding it. This is not yet proven because the amount of radiation is so small we currently can not detect it. Correct me if I am wrong.

Why do we perceive time to pass at the rate that we do?

Acceleration determines your perception of every other observers clock. Your clock ticks as normal. When it comes to the why in the perception it is because motion through space slows motion through time it is always equal to the speed of light when combined with each other. So at rest all...

How much of galaxy redshift is due to gravity?

Space expanding galaxies apart is the best bet when it comes to inflationary theory, great for the horizon problem. The contrast in blue shift with Andromeda wasn't implying that it was leading me to believe anything particular, should have said that. Galaxies should fly apart according to mass...

Is Reality as We Know It Just an Illusion?

Materialistic physicists basis for reality stems from a material ground of being, the abosolute in this being that we do all scientific experiments objectively as physically possible. Science done on the ground of subjective and objective should change the perception of reality. So the question...

Perception of Time & the Probability Wave: Is It Illusory?

If the probability wave of say an electron is smeared throughout the entire universe and all matter is subject to relative time experience, could this give cause to believe that our subjective perception of time is irrelevant to this question or to the opposite effect that past, present and...

How much of galaxy redshift is due to gravity?

The red shift in the light from the galaxies is old so, how can we possibly know? Any answer is going to be relative to current data not future. Our closest galaxy, Andromeda, is currently seen in blue shift, so go figure. Using current working models and unknown variables like dark energy and...

Smallest Distance: How We Feel Things Without Touching

10 to the -33rd power cm i believe it the Planck length but that would have nothing to do with fingers or the keyboard interaction, this is macroscopic probing not individual atoms. That is referring to the smallest amount of distance, which is known as a meaningful distance on a quantam scale...
