Finding the Value of 'n' in CuSO4*nH20 Lab
Doing a lab on the computer we received the data of a hydrate to be .1989 g and the dehydrate .1271 g last mass of water evolved from reaction .0718g. We heated CuSO4*nH20 and we needed to find n. I changed the anhydrate and water to moles then dividing the number by the smallest amount of moles...- JEscribir

Calculating Moles from Given Mass: Where Did I Go Wrong?
Yeah I emailed my teacher because I was freaking out since I could have sworn I did it right. Other people have already finished the assignment and no one has pointed out the supposed mistake to be revised that is why I am so skeptical.- JEscribir

Calculating Moles from Given Mass: Where Did I Go Wrong?
The actual problem that I don't understand says " how many moles of C2H3Cl3O2 molecules are in 100.0 g chloral hydrate (C2H3Cl3O2)?" So that's to four sig figs and chloral hydrate has a molar mass of about 165.4 g/mol. I divided 100.0g / 165.4 g per mol to get about .6064 moles, but I'm...- JEscribir

Calculating Moles from Given Mass: Where Did I Go Wrong?
Can someone show me how to calculate the number of moles of a given compound's molecules when given the mass in grams of the compund sample? I am kind of confused by this because at first I thought it just asked for me to convert the grams into moles, but that isn't exactly what is being asked.- JEscribir

Is D=1/2*a*t^2 the Right Formula to Calculate Rocket Height?
Thank you for the unit correction, it is important( it was an embarrrasing mistake :frown: ). Let me review, the time( from launch till fall) I get should be divided by two to get the distance: so would I do d=1/2 *a*((t^2)/2) ? thanks- JEscribir

Is D=1/2*a*t^2 the Right Formula to Calculate Rocket Height?
I need to find the height a rocket travels(bottle rocket). If I use this equation, ignoring air resistance, etc... I should use a stop watch from the time of launch till it hits the ground equaling t. a=9.81 m/s. Is that the correct way to use the formula for this excerise? Is there...- JEscribir

Calculating Original Vectors: Solving for Net Force"
I know what the net forces angle and magnitude is... I need to find the magnitude of the original forces(3 of them) which are added to get the net force; All the original forces are at fixed poistions and I do know their Angles; How would I find the the original forces magnitude's?- JEscribir

God & Physics: A Debate on Believing in Both
I think Science and Religion go hand to hand. There is tons of science in the Judo-Christian Bible and Islam Quran(Koran); not necessarily very specific to things like quantum mechanics or higher level of mathematics but non the less its still impressive and poetic. Nowadays there are a lot of...- JEscribir

Undergrad What Are the Differences Between Newton and Leibniz Calculus?
I was wondering if anyone had any links that could show me some Leibniz theroems or maybe a bio. Also, I was wondering, since I don't really know to much about Leibniz Calculus, what would be some major distinctions between Newton's and Leibniz's Calculus, if there are any? And what would... -
