What Are the Effects of Changing Flux on Eddy Currents in Metals?
i know that the open loop won't have as high a current as the closed loop of copper but should it still have some eddy currents. Afterall it is still a piece of metal experiencing a change in flux through it. Thats why i thought it should be p,r,q- jubba

Why High Energy Lines in Balmer Series Not Visible?
in the balmer series the the higher energy level lines from the spectra are not observable using a spectroscope. is this because: they are outside the visible spectrum and the intensity of the lines at high energy levels are much lower than the lower energy lines? If any of my...- jubba

What are the stable isotopes of lead and bismuth?
Iron has the most nuclear stability. Atoms will lose energy as they undergo fusion or fission to form Iron. i.e Atoms with atomic number less than iron will not release energy in fission.- jubba

Induced current in a wire multiple choice question
question In a particular experiment a long length of copper wire of very low resistance is rotated by two students. The ends of the wire are connected to a galvanometer, G, and a current is detected. Which of the following is LEAST likely to affect the amount of current produced? (A) The...- jubba

but take hyrdogen where there is only one electron. why does the fine structures occur then as there is no need for the energy levels to split, to obey pauli's exclusion principle.- jubba

Pauli's exclusion principle and fine structures
fine structures I understand this but how does Pauli's exclusion principle help explain fine structures. Because i was asked this but i don't think that pauli's exclusion principle is required to explain fine structures.- jubba

Pauli's exclusion principle and fine structures
Can anybody help me understand how pauli's exclusion principle helps explain the existence of fine line structures in the emmission spectra for atoms, which could not be explained by Bohr's model.- jubba
