hello chakr, you can start with the free version of cadsoft eagle. its free. but limited. perhaps your university has also a deal with eagle. have fun

i would recommend cadsoft eagle, find it here: http://www.cadsoftusa.com we also used in school and i think it was very easy to learn and use.

In my eyes the most uptodate version is Cadsoft EAGLE, which you can find here: http://www.cadsoftusa.com/eagle-pcb-design-software/product-overview/ The new version v6 is updatet regularly.

i would recommend http://www.cadsoftusa.com/. It is the best software for circuit board design i think. It includes a schematic editor, autorouter and a layout editor. For more info just check the homepage. greetings
