Best Place to Live: US, Canada, or Japan?
I'm pretty sure that apart from accomodation if you manage how to spend and cook on your own you'll spend only around 10,000 yen ( about 70-80 dollars) per month in Japan. Will you survive with 70-80 dollars in the U.S.?- noppakhuns

Which languages are most useful for mathematics and physics research?
I'm studying Japanese and I can understand simple chinese sentenese, korean (if chinese characters are used). It's really enjoyable to study the characters. If I have time, I want to know about 10,000 characters.- noppakhuns

Does anyone know whether there is any university having researches on General Relativity itself, not its application in Astrophysics? If so, what mathematics do I need rather than differential geometry?- noppakhuns

Graduate Solving Euler Equation for X^m (m^2 + 1)^2 = 0
The four solutions have to be linearly independent and you may prove the solutions for characteristic equations with repeated roots by reducing the order. Set up the condition as you know the first solution for a homogeneous equation, then solve for another by using y2=u(x)y1, substute in and...- noppakhuns
