Finding emf1, R1 & R2 from a graph
Where i=0 , E2(2nd battery) = 40v , E2(1st battery) = 60v. ( what is the equation to turn the E2(1st battery) to E1 of the first battery ) ? I calculated 1\R using If-Ii\Vf-Vi from the plots , R is V\I ( the inverse ).- Omar FTM

Potential difference between points d and c in circuit
The current flow as mentioned is upward on R2. I tried puting -0.3 v and 0.3v , both were wrong. There are only two batteries and 3 resistors.- Omar FTM

Finding emf1, R1 & R2 from a graph
Homework Statement Both batteries in Figure (a) are ideal. Emf 1 of battery 1 has a fixed value, but emf 2 of battery 2 can be varied between 10.0 V and 100.0 V. The plots in Figure (b) give the currents through the two batteries as a function of 2. The vertical scale is set by is = 0.48 A. You...- Omar FTM

Potential difference between points d and c in circuit
Homework Statement In the figure below, what is the potential difference Vd - Vc between points d and c if E1(of 1st battery) = 4.7 V, E2((of 2nd battery) = 1.4 V, R1 = R2 = 11 Ω, and R3 = 6.7 Ω, and the batteries are ideal? http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5053/5469093809_53c7fe57f4.jpg...- Omar FTM

Finding the drift speed of a conduction electrons
I double checked my p and n , they are correct ( from the book (copper = 1.72e-8 ) , n from the question itself = 8.49x10^28 ) , but it's still telling me that my answer is wrong :(- Omar FTM

Finding the drift speed of a conduction electrons
Homework Statement The figure shows wire section 1 of diameter 4R and wire section 2 of diameter 2R, connected by a tapered section. The wire is copper and carries a current. Assume that the current is uniformly distributed across any cross-sectional area through the wire's width. The electric...- Omar FTM

Charges of three long charged cylinders centered on 1 axis
The figure shows a section of three long charged cylinders centered on the same axis. Central cylinder A has a uniform charge qA= +3q0. What are the charges of qb and qc if E is 0 on point > a) 1 ( between A & B ) b) 2 ( between B & C ) c) 3 ( out side the cylinders ) My solutions were based on...- Omar FTM
