Does bromobenzene mean that a bromine is bonded to every carbon in the benzene ring? When it saids 1-ethylbenzene where do i put the ethyl since benzene is in a ring? Thx in advance

Hi, my question is when naming Alkanes like CH3CH(CH3)CH3CH(CH2CH3)CH(CH3)CH3 Do I name it as 3-ethyl-2,5-dimethylpentane? Also does this naming rules also apply to alkene and alkyne?

but i got a pH of around 2, but isn't acids the ones that are below pH of 7?

then do i need to find the excess in OH- ions or the excess of NaOH? Also after I've found the pH do i add the pH of 7 from water to it as well since that number alone is under 7 which shouldn't happen because its the base that's in excess.
