Specific Heat Capacity help! This question is simple but I'm a little confused, it involves beach breezses, temperature, and convection. Sand on the beach get much hotter than water on sunny day so air above sand heats up and rise due to convection then cold air moves in from over water...

ohh So to convert C into K you simply add 273. Say the melting point of water is 0c so to covert it to K you add 273 ,so it will be 273K right? BTW what's the avg. human body temp.? 30c?
