Graduate Does direct/indirect band gap occur in solids other than semiconductors?

We all know how to google and look at wiki. There is really no need to give a wiki link. Please note, this page as well as other books all mentioned only direct and indirect band gap in semi-conductor without discussing what I asked!!!

Which citation manager do you use?

I have used Mendeley for 10 years. But it is extremely slow. Every single click will take it 5 min. or so.... I have about 8500 references in it, and I need to work with LaTex and WORD. Is there other reference manager can I use?

Undergrad Importance of Hanbury Brown and Twiss experiment

OK Stern-Glash is not (Sorry I am very confused). It is not even an interferometry. But how about Michelson-Morley and Mach-Zehnder?

Undergrad Importance of Hanbury Brown and Twiss experiment

OK. Here is an example that saying HBT measures intensity https://physicstoday.aip.org/news/glauber-hall-and-hansch-share-the-2005-nobel-prize-in-physics on page 19 (the first page of that article) upper-right corner..... the Hanbury Brown–Twiss (HBT) apparatus measured the correlation in the...

Undergrad Importance of Hanbury Brown and Twiss experiment

I read Hanbury Brown and Twiss's experiment is using one beam but split into two to test their correlation. It said the traditional correlation test were using two beams........ This confused me, sorry. All the correlation tests I learnt such as Stern-Gerlash are using one beam? (Sorry if I am...
