Maximum weight that helium balloon can lift

Hi. I have been trying to do this question for about an hour now... A 0.12 kg balloon is filled with helium (density-0.179). If the balloon is a sphere with a radius of 5.2m what is the maximum weight it can lift. I tried using the P=M/V then Fb=pgV...No luck...Help..

What is the coefficient of static fraction for the book?

I was looking at the problem! I am sorry! I got 17.64 for the Force of book (Fn) on the table. Now, would why I take that since if I got that answer I would take Fn=17.64/mass=1.8 equals the acceleration. Wouldn't I need to find the Ff first then take that and divide it by the mass?

What is the coefficient of static fraction for the book?

I found out that it was 931N. But then where would I go with that? Because I would need to find the Ff then divide that by 931N. Thank You!

What is the coefficient of static fraction for the book?

I really don't know where to find the acceleration of the object in this question. When you push a 1.8 kg book resting on a tabletop, it takes 2.25 N to start the book sliding. Hwat is the coefficient of static fraction? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have already done the force...

What Is the Minimum Static Friction Coefficient to Keep a Block Motionless?

Would I use the coefficient of kinetic friction from the last problem for the Ff in part b? I am really confused! Someone help please!

What Is the Minimum Static Friction Coefficient to Keep a Block Motionless?

Oh I see. I have my axis as a traditional axis. So, I add my unbalanced forces according to the axis postive or negative values? I'm still stuck on the part b problem though, so any tad bit of help would help.

What Is the Minimum Static Friction Coefficient to Keep a Block Motionless?

Hello, I deeply need help on this problem. ANY help would be appreciated. Suppose a hanging 1.0 kb lab mass is attached to a 4.0 kg block on the table. A) If the coefficent of kinetic friction, uk is 0.20, what is the accereration of the block? B) What would be the minimun value of the...
