this is true also, you're not necessarily adding mass to the system when you give it energy just because energy and mass are equivalent doesn't mean they are the same for example, 5-2 is equivalent to 3 but not the same as 3

Why can just about all frequency/wavelength electromagnetic waves penetrate through physical objects (even if only a thin piece of wood or something) but light cant?
