Where Can I Find a Free Student Version of AutoCAD?

Forces in truss members greater than applied force?
I've had to conduct an experiment with strain gauges attached to each member and when I've calculated the forces in the members I've come out with really large forces in comparison to the applied force.. how does this work out?- sukibelle

thank you for replying so fast. i see that now. my concern is that i seem to answer the questions a bit backwards to my lecturer and i'll show you what i mean- i use r x F because it's like that in hibbeler but if i use her method it doesn't align. i don't know if there actually is a difference...- sukibelle
