Cascode C-S Amplifier (Find Poles in Frequency Response)
Homework Statement Heres the question, I honestly don't know where to even begin :( An AC model of a cascode common-source amplifier is shown below. M1 and M2 are biased in saturation mode. The parasitic capacitors in the transistors are included. Determine the poles in frequency response...- tron_2.0

First law of thermodynamics rate problem
Homework Statement consider a room that is initially at the outdoor temperature of 20 degrees C. The room contains a 100-W lightbulb, a 110-W TV set, a 200-W refrigerator, and a 1000-W iron. Assuming no heat transfer through the walls, determine the rate of increase of the energy content of...- tron_2.0

Finding coordinates of a point on an out of phase wave
in that case wouldn't out conrtolled variable (x) be 2pi for 360 degrees and pi for 180 degrees? and after that couldn't we plug pi or 2pi into the equation for y(x) i gave above? i was thinking that but i don't know if that's right. and if that is true, what happens to t?- tron_2.0

Finding coordinates of a point on an out of phase wave
Hello: Whats up guys? I haven't posted here in a little while, and after a long summer I've become a bit rusty on my physics so I am going to need a little help from you guys if possible. Homework Statement Consider the sin wave of example 13.2 (see below for more info) with the...- tron_2.0

How far does the block travel up the incline before sliding back down?
couldnt we just break the problem up into 2 sections, one where the block is compressed and then released and the other when the block is climbing the inclined plane? maybe you guys were already thinking this and I am just being redundant. its been a semester since my last physics class and...- tron_2.0

Engineering Confused about Equiv. Resistance for this Circuit
in finding v thevanin, break the circuit at the point at which you want the voltage. in this case you would want to remove the 50 ohm resistor and find the voltage across that break. also in finding r-thevanin, you would remove the 50 ohm resistor, turn off the voltage source, and combine the...- tron_2.0

Integration by parts tanx help
actually couldn't you do it with partial fractions and integrating once? you can break up x/(x^2+4x+4) into x/(x+2)^2 therefore by partial fractions you could break it into [x/(x+2)^2]= A/(x+2) + Bx+C/[(x+2)^2] from there you can solve for A, B, and C and plug that back into your original...- tron_2.0
