    I Blinder–Oaxaca decomposition confusion

The following three equations illustrate this decomposition. Estimate separate linear wage regressions for individuals i in groups A and B: {\displaystyle {\begin{aligned}(1)\qquad \ln({\text{wages}}_{A_{i}})&=X_{A_{i}}\beta _{A}+\mu _{A_{i}}\\(2)\qquad...

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

They should have actually given a prove of how they have derived it. I am trying to understand it.

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

The question that is directly coming into my mind is how they derived multipliers. It is not so simple question and they have not given derivation of multipliers. Plus to confuse they have given that multiplier for two schedule having same sampling is different. Maybe first I should go through...

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

What exactly confuses me is that they have taken two questionaire( Schedule 0.0 and Schedule 2.34) both with same sampling and they have calculated formula for multiplier different.

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

I am attaching the estimation procedure file here Schedule 2.34 is questionaire used for survey. If things are not clear I would try to explain. For aggregating data they have given formula but I cannot understand how they derived multiplier.

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

Thank you data is collected by an Indian government agency, I already knew that data was not very reliable but when I came to sampling design I was like there seems to be no logic nor they have given any. I am working to understand it , it will take time. :)

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

I am sorry if it seems so. I have a large data file and I was confused to see that. I will try to reframe.

I Sampling Weights: Understanding Multipliers & Aggregates

Hi, I am trying to understand weights or multipliers allocated to sample in my data(for my research work). They have given a formula as how weight is calculated and how aggregates are to be obtained. But what I am trying to understand is how they obtained the formula for multiplier which they...

On statistics of index what is Zoj

can you guess something about it by just going through the paper's page no 3:frown:

On statistics of index what is Zoj

I want to interpret Zoj I believe it is not related to statistics but economics

On statistics of index what is Zoj

Hi everybody, I have a statistical problem in interpreting the index The variables for different indicators are taken from different population distributions and they might be recorded in different units of measurement. The values of these indicators are not quite suitable for combined...

    On formal concept analysis (fca)

Thanks for reply. I was thinking and I went through some research papers which were from land use policy and medical sciences and also from a conference book so I came to the conclusion that basically if I use the diagram then what I interpret from the diagram it depends on the expertise of my...

    On formal concept analysis (fca)

Hi, I was using Hasse Diagram as it is great tool for data analysis but there is a confusion the thing is that I downloaded a software for fca and every time it uses a algorithm it gives a different lattice ,I do understand but suppose I am using it for some representation of concept lattice...

    How Does the Indicator Function Prove 1A U (B∩C) = 1A.(1B + 1C - 1B.1C)?

that means it must be misprint or something like that because union is between A and (B intersection C) and you have taken union in B and C where there was a intersection given
