Understanding J-K Flip Flops and Timing Diagrams
I'm trying to understand how the J-K flip flop works and how to draw the timing diagrams. I was reading about it on wikipedia and was wondering if someone could explain this to me: "Specifically, the combination J = 1, K = 0 is a command to set the flip-flop; the combination J = 0, K = 1 is a...- variable

Graph Solution for u(t)-2u(t-2)+u(t-5) with Heaviside Function
well, obviously but how would that change the graph? would it change the interval, amplitude, or both? can someone please be more specific in their answer. an example, anything.- variable

Graph Solution for u(t)-2u(t-2)+u(t-5) with Heaviside Function
can someone please help me graph this function: u(t)-2u(t-2)+u(t-5) where u(t) is heaviside fcn. i got that it's 1 from 0<t<2 and 1>5 but i don't think that's right but don't know what to do with the 2 in 2u(t-2). thank you.- variable

Checking 3 D Flip-Flops for Timing Diagrams
Hi Berkeman and thank you for replying. I still don't get it. I understand how to draw the circuit now but I don't get how it works. Is it possible for you to walk me through it step by step or start explaining from the beginning? I don't understand the notations you used. Is b begin...- variable

Checking 3 D Flip-Flops for Timing Diagrams
thanks berkeman. yes i think that makes sense but what should i assume the first input D1 is, 1 or 0? it just says to assume all the set states in all the circuits is Q=1 but for D flip-flops, if Q=1, D could be either 0 or 1 right because the only thing that matters is what Qnext is? should...- variable

Checking 3 D Flip-Flops for Timing Diagrams
Can someone please check to see if I drew the circuit right? It's supposed to be 3 D flip-flops wired together such that D1 = Q3, etc. on the bottom. And how would I go about drawing the timing diagrams for the outputs if all of them start in the set state. I get really confused about timng...- variable

How a digital to analog converter works
It's connected to the terminal block which uses USB and it's external. I think they are the same because I remember reading something about registers in the manual and the bipolar range, etc. Thank you so much for your help!- variable

How a digital to analog converter works
thanks, that really helps. just one follow-up question. does the board have the same function as the card? I've been trying to look through the manual for the board and it's several hundred pages long so haven't been too successful.- variable

How a digital to analog converter works
can someone please explain how a digital to analog converter works if say your equipment includes a computer with a software like Labview, a Lab-NB board, a terminal block (USB) and an oscilloscope. what is each component doing and what is being transferred between them? thanks.- variable

Explain to me all these offset concepts
Maybe I'm just really dense here but can someone please explain to me all these offset concepts like what does it mean to add a DC offset and what does adding a DC offset do to an AC signal? For instance, adding it to a sine wave or whatever other waveforms and decreasing it. Can someone...- variable

Find Gain of JFET Diff Amp: V1 & VD2 Explained
Please refer to file attached. I'm trying to understand how to find the gain for the JFET differential amplifier circuit, My guess is that vd2 is g[SIZE="1"]m*R[SIZE="1"]D. r[SIZE="1"]d=infinity in this case. How do you find V1?- variable
