Trouble with mirror equations, .
what about convex mirrors? can i use exactly the same equations for them? on my next task (m=0.33 do=20) i had to calculate the radius for this convex mirror and i got -19.7, so if - means that the image is inverted, and as far as i know convex ones don't generate inverted images, should i...- x64bob

Trouble with mirror equations, .
ok, thanks a lot. so doesn't "- di/2.2" mean that both di and 2.2 are negative values?- x64bob

Trouble with mirror equations, .
heres the problem: a dentist wants a small mirror that, when 2.20cm from a tooth, will produce a 4.5x upright image. what kind of mirror must be used and what must its radius of curvature be? so i did the following calculations with the mirror equations i learned: m=4.5 equation to get...- x64bob

Need help understanding how a radio works
with the help of an oscillator you create a frequency but how exactly do you insert the electric signal you've gained from a microphone into that frequency? if i understood the microphone right it transfers the vibrations into electrical form by altering let's say the current so that different...- x64bob

Some questions about the capacitor
ok, i do understand that there isen't any connection between the plates where electrons can pass and that's there is an electric field affecting the plates. but is the electric field only generated by the plate which get filled with electrons or do they both got field affecting each other? also...- x64bob

Some questions about the capacitor
k, but i don't see why the electric field is needed here, or is it just something that happens if so you should be able to have a separate plate alone that's just charged with electrones and another with just holes? in other words how do they depend of each other, why can't you just connect...- x64bob

Some questions about the capacitor
I've read about the capacitor on wikipedia but diden't catch some details; if the capacitor consists of 2 plates that can be charged and an insulator between them what connection do they have as I've read that the capacitor always is a a zero charge because of each plate always having the equal...- x64bob
