Hi there!

My name is Niko and as the title says I'm a current engineering student studying in the UK.

I really like physics and would have loved to study physics as a degree given the chance, but I went for engineering instead.

My subject interests outside mechatronic include astrophysics (Shoutout to cosmos for convincing me astrophysics is an important and fascinating subject for everyone), as well as nuclear engineering.

I'm looking forward to joining discussions and learning more about various areas of physics here in PF.

Thanks for reading!

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
