A little help with vector calculus

How can I describe electric fields and equipotential surfaces using Vector calculus?? HELP...

First that is not a mathematics question, it is a physics question so you would be better posting it in a physics sub-forum.

Second, it is far too broad. There are whole chapters of physics texts devoted to it.
