An idle curiosity...
I saw a post made by someone earlier who had apparently made zero posts. In the past, I've seen people with fewer posts to their name than I could count made by them in one particular thread.
Is this a glitch, or do posts in certain forums not count towards the total that appears beneath your name?

Posts made in the General Discussion fourm are not counted in the post count.

I want to thank those members who interacted with me a couple of years ago in two Optics Forum threads. They were @Drakkith, @hutchphd, @Gleb1964, and @KAHR-Alpha.
