As time passes by

If time past were infinite, then we would be part of a divergent (infinite) set (i.e. collection) of succession of evolving stages. Also anything that were finite, would be considered infinitesimal from conceptual perspective of an overall infinite process; such as a divergent set.

Time is like a stick in flowing stream,
the first to come, and the last to past.

If the windows of perception were cleansed
everything would be seen as it is - infinite
