AI Thread Summary
Electric and magnetic fields are generated by the interaction of positive and negative charges, with electric fields emanating from the positive charge and terminating at the negative charge. When charges accelerate, they create changing electric fields that propagate as electromagnetic waves. The movement of these charges can induce magnetic fields, which are perpendicular to the electric fields. For a deeper understanding, visual aids and diagrams can be found on resources like Wikipedia and elementary physics textbooks. Understanding these concepts is fundamental to grasping the principles of electromagnetism.

Hi All ,
if we have 2 charges +ve and -ve ... how Electric and Magnetic fields are been created between them and also how they will move to create magnetic field and how they will travel (propagate) ?
thanks for help !

Thread 'Motional EMF in Faraday disc, co-rotating magnet axial mean flux'
So here is the motional EMF formula. Now I understand the standard Faraday paradox that an axis symmetric field source (like a speaker motor ring magnet) has a magnetic field that is frame invariant under rotation around axis of symmetry. The field is static whether you rotate the magnet or not. So far so good. What puzzles me is this , there is a term average magnetic flux or "azimuthal mean" , this term describes the average magnetic field through the area swept by the rotating Faraday...
