Biomedical engineering to biomechatronics?

the university I'm going to has a bachelors program in Mechantronics and Biomedical engineering, but ultimately I want to take the Masters program in Biomechatronics, I personally find Biomedical engineering more interesting since it covers more fields. But I'm not sure what's the best path for Biomechatronics.

which would be the better basis, Mechatronics or Biomedical engineering?

Programs in these fields can vary from school to school. It would probably be best to ask the department that offered the master's program that you're interested in.
