How did you find PF?
Via Google Link
I was searching about Brian Cox and the news about the latest discovery of the extra terrestial missile type about 12miles in length and is aimed towards earth. I got deeply interested and went into a rabbit hole of consuming information from various sources, and eventually stumbled upon this forum where a healthy discussion was taking place.

extra terrestial missile
??? Huh ? Sounds like Brian is making stuff up again.

EDIT: Oh, I see. He did NOT endorse any such thing, but was specific in saying he didn't. I wonder if he also doesn't endorse pink unicorns.

I like his response:
There are many things this ‘could’ be, one of which is a giant space turd shat, intentionally or otherwise, towards the solar system from what passes for the arse of a sentient molecular cloud. My money, however, is on a lump of ice and rock.

...about 12miles in length...
Shrinking as we speak.
Latest measurements have pared it down to somewhere between 3.5 miles and 1000 feet.

Very relatable haha... deep rabbit holes are like my speciality I swear...

:welcome:!!!

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
