Can a Forensic Pathologist Benefit from Understanding Momentum and Delta V?

I am a forensic pathologist (I worked as a medical examiner for 5 years), and intersect with the work of a forensic biomechanist at least 2-3 cases per year. So I would have sometimes questions about momentum and delta v.
