SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the identification and understanding of key electromagnetism formulas, specifically focusing on magnetic flux (Φ), magnetic flux density (B), permeability (μ), reluctance (Rc), and magnetomotive force (MMF). Participants clarify that Rc represents reluctance and MMF is the magnetomotive force, while expressing confusion about the derivation of these formulas. The conversation also touches on the use of LaTeX for better representation of equations, highlighting the importance of clear communication in technical discussions.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of magnetic flux (Φ) and magnetic flux density (B)
  • Knowledge of permeability (μ) in electromagnetism
  • Familiarity with reluctance (Rc) and magnetomotive force (MMF)
  • Basic proficiency in LaTeX for typesetting equations
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the derivation of formulas related to magnetic flux and density
  • Study the concepts of reluctance (Rc) and magnetomotive force (MMF) in detail
  • Learn how to effectively use LaTeX for presenting scientific equations
  • Explore advanced electromagnetism textbooks for comprehensive understanding
USEFUL FOR

Students, educators, and professionals in physics or electrical engineering who seek to deepen their understanding of electromagnetism and improve their technical communication skills.

I know what ##\Phi## and B are, I think they are the magnetic flux and its density. I think ##\mu## is the permeability. But I dont know what ##R_c## and MMF are and how are these formulas deduced.

Oh I see ##R_c## is the reluctance and MMF is magnetomotive force. I still dont know how these formulas are derived tho.

Which reference did you get these from ? They aren't in the usual standard form.

Since you seem to know how to use LaTeX, is there a reason you did not post those equations you are asking about using LaTeX instead of those fuzzy images?

oh it's others' hand script

Maybe so, but if you can read it, you can also enter it in LaTeX to benefit the rest of us.
