i am running out of room on my current breadboard and the only breadboard i can find in my city is the same size as mine. if i can connect them do i need two voltage regulators or one? I am currently using a 9v battery on my old breadboard.

Sure you can string breadboards together so long as you pay attention to buses. Whether you need another voltage regulator depends on the current draw. Only you know that.
