I'm learning science 101, much from the internet. Realized that I can't trust it all. So found this site and thought I'd check it out and see if you guys will be able to help learn more, and verify info. Sorry if I'm all questions, and no answers for a while, I did say I'm just now learning from the beginning. also I'm inebriated most the time I'm on the internet but i try to be polite and ignore anything i say that may not make sense and possibly be deleted at a later time.

Hello, and welcome to PF!

Welcome, don't drink and science ;)

Well I make no promises as to the state of my mind, but will wait till sober before I actually run any tests. I'm hoping science and chemistry will help me to want to stay sober. buuuut that's going to be a while before i actually do anything I'm just reading/watching for now and won't be able to afford to run simple tests for a good several months.

Welcome to PF!

Your best bet for learning science topics would Khan Academy videos. Be aware that little learning can take place without good learning habits and drinking is not one of them.

Thanks we'll see how I progress. I'm planning on being sober when I'm working so no worries. ;)

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
