MATLAB Can MATLAB Graph Solids of Revolution Using Integral Form?

AI Thread Summary
MATLAB can graph solids of revolution using the information from the integral form of the problem, but it requires additional steps beyond simply inputting the integral. Users typically need to define the function to be revolved, set up the limits of integration, and use MATLAB's plotting functions to visualize the solid. The discussion emphasizes the need for understanding both the mathematical concepts behind solids of revolution and the specific MATLAB commands that facilitate this type of graphing.

matlab & solids of revolution??

Does anyone know if MATLAB can graph solids of revolution by just using the information contained in the integral form of the problem?
