Hi

Last time I studied physics was in 1977 in high school. Not sure I passed.

Picked up a hobby and a question arose. Thought it would be simple, but it led to trigonometry and now, I think, ballistics.

So, figured this place would have discussions on the subject.

Welcome, yes you find this is a good place to get accurate answers to those kind of questions, and you'll probably find other interesting topics being discussed as well.

Thanks. Already found a link from a discussion to an online calculator that solves the question without considering drag and lift. Cool.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
