Can We Build Warp Machines for Space Travel?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the feasibility of building a warp machine for spacecraft to enable travel around the universe. While some participants dismiss the concept as science fiction, others point to NASA's ongoing work on a spacecraft design that incorporates warp-drive technology. However, skepticism remains regarding the practicality and functionality of such designs, with some asserting that they are merely artistic representations rather than viable engineering solutions. The conversation also highlights NASA's current focus on developing a safe replacement for the space shuttle, suggesting that warp-drive technology is not a priority at this time.

Is it possible now that we can built a warp machine and put inside the spacecraft and traveling around the universe?

No, that is sci-fic nonsense, not physics.

but NASA now has design a spacecraft that use warp-drive. If this spacecraft has been built then it will become a reality. How it describe according to physics theoretical.

NASA is still working on a safe replacement for the shuttle!
And so they should.
Warp drives?

That's a preliminary design of a spacecraft that uses an extremely hypothetical form of propulsion that almost certainly doesn't work.

That's waaay too generous: The photo is nothing but art.
