Can we prove that x>1 implies y<1 if 3x+2y≤5 for real numbers x and y?

Suppose x and y are real numbers and 3x+2y≤5. Prove that if x>1 then y<1

What would happen if x &gt; 1 and y \ge 1 were both true?
 
Not real sure what would happen.

Hi all, I've been a roulette player for more than 10 years (although I took time off here and there) and it's only now that I'm trying to understand the physics of the game.
