For some days now, I can't connect via the android app. I only get a message "trying to connect to the server".

Just checked my app. It's working fine.
 
Working fine for me also (posting this via the app).
 
Sorry, I didn't see your last message. Yesterday, I reinstalled the app and now it works.

I want to thank those members who interacted with me a couple of years ago in two Optics Forum threads. They were @Drakkith, @hutchphd, @Gleb1964, and @KAHR-Alpha.
