Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a general idea of the circuit needed to generate a composite video signal?

There are chips that generate composit video for you. Is that what you mean? There are some that are used in NTSC test instruments too, with built-in test patterns.

What is your application? Generate composite video from what? R-B-B-syncs?

Yes. To be more specific, I need a color composite video signal. I would like to use a television for a display for a microprocessor system that I am building. I could use a normal computer monitor but I would like to experiment with a television for a display first.

And your TV has a baseband composite video input? What is the connector for it?
