hi all dear members…
this summer i have a final year project to graduate as an electrical engineer …
my topic is to design and implement a simulator of a protective grounding system that contains the 3 types of circuits … that it :
TT, IT, and TNC(s) … and adding the adequate protective circuit and so on ….
i found some data but still not enough … would be glad if you help me here ….

What does TT, IT and TNC stand for? Then we might be able to go from there.

Are you sure it's not TT, IT and TN? A TN-C-S system is a form of TN protective earthing (TN-S, TN-C and TN-C-S).

Anyway yes we can help you but you need to ask a question first. Are you looking for advantages and disadvantages of each system? Applications? Operation? Types of protective devices used?

There are five types listed in BS 7671 Wiring Regulations:
1.TN–S
2.TN–C–S
3.TT
4.TN–C
5.IT

The three systems used in the UK are: TN–S, TN–C–S (PME) or TT. However, because TT systems are not directly earthed they are prohibited for low voltage public supply in the UK.

well first i know almost eveything about each grounding system ..
what i don't know is what is the adequate protective device ( fuses and relays) for each circuit .. couz i heard that each one need specific protection ..

other thing .. i want to implement a circuit of that ..
i mean a sourse, a load (resistors) and protectice device and test it practically to see what's the advantage of grounding in the system ..
hope i make it clear ...

they stand for the 3 main grounding systems ...
TT = tera-tera = earth_earth
IT = don't know but we use an impredance here between the neutral and the groung
TNC(S) = tera- neutral ... and there r 2 different crts
 
my purpose is to implement a simulator ( circuit) that describes how the 3 types of grounding are working ...
for educational purpose .. that is i will let this circuit in my isntitut as a good example of grounding

the steps are ...
i need power supply ..
a load ( resistors) ...
and i need protective elements ...
and each type of grounding as a specific adequate protective element ...
example :
the TT grounding type needs the differential relay ...
the IT needs impedance controller and so on ...

so i need those details ..
i want to simulate them in simulink (matlab) before implementing the circuit ...

hope it is clear ...
please help me soon ...
