Difference between h-parameters and hybrid pi?

Hey guys, I'm confused as to the difference between the h-parameters usually given by datasheets and their hybrid-pi model analogues. For instance, I know hfe = Beta in small signal analysis, but what about the other h-parameters.

hfe stand for forward comman emitter and there are nomenclatures for comman collector and comman base also.Go through the book you will got idea of these parameters for two port system
 
* h11 can be considered as the base-emitter resistance rbe
* h21 is the current gain beta
* h12 can be neglectd (very small) - it describes the backward effect (influence of Vce on Vbe)
* h22 can be considered as the output conductance of the BJT (slope of the output curves Is=f(Vce) )
