Different Types of Physics

    Hello, I've been wondering about the "branches" of physics. Can anyone please tell a bit about each of the following: particle physics, nuclear physics, atomic physics...etc And maybe a bit about quantum mechanics?

    The link below gives you the different Units and Divisions under the APS. Each corresponds to a roughly the same different "types" of fields in physics, and most links have a brief explanation of the field.
